Then,
For time:
40 Burpees to start, then 4 rounds of:
12 Flip Squats (53/35#)
Run 200m

It’s lonely at times being the only one in the world who actually likes Burpees :-) . I thought this WOD was fun! I liked having the Pull Up skill first, then my dear Burpees, followed by a mini-WOD after. I wasn’t sure at first if my coordinated self would be able to do the Flip Squats, but they were really cool! I only dropped the KB twice…lol!!!! Luckily, no 9 AMers nor flooring were harmed by my graceful catching skills! Great instruction and coaching, Matt and Kristen! Now I’m ready for tomorrow’s 9 AM WOD in Stuart…The Card Game!!!!…followed by loads of fun at the HEW Happy Hour(S) tomorrow night!!!!! I cordially invite everyone to make the beautiful, short drive up to Stuart to partake in our awesome Outdoor WODs. We know how to have fun in the sun up there!

How glad am I that I’m in Maui to miss this W.O.D.!
Brooke’s work out today,walk 10 steps to beach, lift book to eye level, walk 5 steps to ocean, snorkel w/green sea turtles & mantas, walk back to beach chair. Repeat until 4pm when it’s time for Old Lahaina Luau! Yippee! Miss you guys! See you Wednesday!

This was actually a really fun work out today. Although i don’t like Burpees, it was good because i had to keep pushing myself to get back on the ground and do another one. This was my first experience with the Flip Squats and I must say it was challenging by the third round. All in all I believe that I have to say the class lived up to its name today. :) Good Job 6 o’clock class!!
